Mini-Altars with Amanda

This activity is good for any season! We are going to make our own small, or travel altars. Below are basic materials. We will talk about how to change up the altar for each season, as well as how to personalize it to meet your needs.

Materials:

  • Container: Small box or bag- think small boxes from Walmart craft aisle, or dice bag from gaming.

  • Earth: a rock, crystal, flower, or salt, or something green

  • Air: a feather, bell, or candle (small, like a birthday candle), or something yellow

  • Fire: a candle (small, like a birthday candle), match, or something red

  • Water: a shell, small cup (like for a Barbie), or something blue

  • Deity: You may want to represent your deities. Use what speaks to you! Many altars have a representation of male and female energy. Others have just one energy. Some are specific for the season. We will talk about this in our session!
