Ostara/Spring Wreath with Carrie
Ostara/Spring Wreath with Carrie
In honor of the equinox, we will be making door/wall decorative wreaths to mark the seasonal shift. This can be made super simple or with as many craft items as you want to use! Because this craft can be “made to order” I will be doing one with flowers and eggs along with one that uses colorful snakes to represent the Pagans from Ireland.
Materials:
Prepared wreath: you can use a grapevine wreath, straw, wire coat hanger turned into a circle shape, paper plate with center cut out, etc
Decorative items: flowers, grasses, bows, plastic eggs, small toys, ribbons, rubber snakes, etc
Glue: hot glue, school glue, craft glue, etc
Wire/string: for binding rather than gluing; craft wire found at dollar store, michaels, etc
Tools:
Glue gun, scissors, wire cutters (if using wire)
